Applications Open for GOHA Summer 2026 Study Abroad Program

About the Program

Experience Prague through the lens of One Health, an approach that emphasizes the interconnectedness of human, animal, and environmental health. This program applies the One Health framework to real-world global health challenges through field-based learning and interdisciplinary engagement. You’ll participate in immersive field visits, examining issues such as emerging infectious diseases, antimicrobial resistance, and the health impacts of climate change. These hands-on experiences and interactive learning sessions will challenge you to think critically about the many factors that influence health outcomes across different domains. Throughout the program, you’ll also explore the cultural and historical context of the Czech Republic through guided tours and discussions with local experts. This combination of academic, practical, and cultural learning will deepen your understanding of global health issues and prepare you to tackle the complex challenges of the future.

Program Dates: July 1-26, 2026

Course

The program utilizes the historical city by visiting numerous museums, national monuments, cultural landmarks, and other significant venues to engage students in their coursework, providing first-hand experiences that inform critical and creative thinking.
