Every year, International Affairs recognizes faculty and staff who lead the Wolfpack in global engagement. The 2016 call for nominations is open now through March 4th. A select group of faculty and staff who have made significant contributions to the university or world in international research, scholarship or service will be recognized at a ceremony in April.
NC State faculty and staff can nominate colleagues for two different awards categories:
- The Jackson Rigney International Service Award recognizes one person annually for the promotion of international understanding over the course of their career.
- The Outstanding Global Engagement Award recognizes three people annually for accomplishments in globally engaged teaching, research, extension, engagement or economic development.
Nominations are reviewed by International Affairs and their advisory committees and are announced at the Global Engagement Exposition on April 19th. Award winners receive small stipends that can be used towards future travel. Learn more
