The NC Japan Center shall be co-hosting an event with the Japan-America Society of North Carolina on Wednesday, October 30th, at the Gregg Museum of Art & Design, from 6-8:00PM. The event is titled “Nagai Tabi: Tales and Travels of Japanese Works of Art to America,” and will consist of a talk by Japanese art expert Dr. Janice Katz from the Art Institute of Chicago, followed by a light reception featuring traditional koto music by Ms. Kanako Ford. NC Japan Center-affiliated individuals and JAS-NC members are free, with a $15 participation fee for all others.
