Traveling While Black

September 25, 2019 | 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

Through this interactive panel discussion students and recent graduates of Black and African American descent will share their study abroad experiences and how their identities -specifically race and ethnicity -impacted their time abroad. We will also discuss scholarships, financial aid, and what students can do to prepare to make the world their classroom. We are grateful to partner with Dr. Blair Kelley,  Assistant Dean for Interdisciplinary Studies and International Programs for the College of Humanities and Social Sciences and Associate Professor of History, who started this event and the African American Cultural Center again this year!
