Triangle Global Health Consortium Annual Conference – Student Scholarship Deadline

This year the Triangle Global Health Consortium Annual Meeting is October 16 at the Durham Convention Center. The theme for this year is One Health: Creating Our Shared Future – Humans, Animals, and the Environment. https://www.
This year NC State will continue its program to support student participation by providing an opportunity for students to attend in the form of a scholarship covering the cost of registration. If selected the student will be expected to attend the entire day and provide their own transportation.
We receive many applications and will choose based on the following. Priority will be given to 1)those selected for a poster or other presentation at the meeting, 2) application of the theme of One Health to the student’s course of studies, and 3) juniors, seniors and professional students then to sophomores and freshmen. Since we want to expand the ability to attend to as many new recipients as possible, those students who have received a scholarship in the past will also be considered but at a lower priority.
