Submit an Event for International Education Month
Celebrated around the world each year in November, International Education Month (IEM) pays homage to international education and global learning opportunities across NC State.
A joint initiative between the U.S. Department of State and U.S. Department of Education, IEM promotes programs that prepare students for a global environment and attract future leaders from abroad to study, learn and exchange experiences.
The Office of Global Engagement welcomes campus partners from across the university to submit an internationally-focused event that takes place during the month of November to be included as part of our International Education Month program.
Events may include presentations, culture-sharing socials, workshops, film screenings, and more. In 2017, the Office of Global Engagement and its partners celebrated international education with over 25 global events for students, faculty, staff, and the community in November.
For inclusion in this year’s IEM program, submit your unit or organization’s event no later than 5:00 p.m. on October 10.
