Indian Embassy Visit Grows Science and Technology Connections
The Office of Global Engagement organized a visit by Dr. Dhananjay Tiwary, Counsellor for Science and Technology and Ms. Roopal Shah, Education Advisor, from the Embassy of India last week.
During the visit, Dr. Tiwary and Ms. Shah met with NC State faculty to develop opportunities that would advance strategic relationships in India, building upon established connections, as well as identify new avenues for research collaboration and academic exchange. Discussions with faculty, staff and students highlighted several areas for collaboration across STEM disciplines as well as agriculture, veterinary medicine, social sciences, humanities and entrepreneurship.
Dr. Tiwary gave a lecture in the afternoon followed by an insightful graduate student poster session.
