NC State Global Giving

NC State Global has now made it easier to give learn about and give support directly to NC State’s internationalization efforts. The Office of Global Engagement has launched a new giving page on its website and has plans to further expand the site with helpful information in the coming months. The page highlights three main new areas, including two new funds, where contributions can have a major impact on individual lives and on our university.

The Global Strategic Initiatives Fund supports critical initiatives such as seed grants for faculty research abroad, region-based events to expand faculty engagement in strategic partnerships, networking activities to increase interdisciplinary collaboration, workshops that include international participants, and programs to welcome visiting scholars from abroad who enrich our campus.

The International Student Support Fund supports scholarships and other forms of sponsorship and program development to help international students study at NC State, including student leadership and success programs, conferences, internships, or joint service-learning projects together with U.S. students. Funds may also be used to provide emergency financial support in times of economic hardship to help ensure degree completion.

The Study Abroad Fund works to ensure that all NC State students, regardless of financial need, have access to life-changing international experiences that contribute to their degree programs.

One-time or recurring gifts are welcome through NC State Global’s giving page, which links to the official NC State Giving website. Development staff are available to discuss other giving opportunities.
