Partner Profile: Seoul National University

Seoul National University (SNU), founded in 1946, is the first national university in modern Korean history. The main campus of the university, called Gwanak, is located at the foot of the Gwanaksan mountain. SNU offers its students a wide variety of entertainment options in the college town of Gwanak and in the city of Seoul. SNU enrolls more than 32,000 students, and more than 2,000 full-time faculty members. The university consists of 15 colleges and 11 professional schools including Public Health, Data Science, International Studies and International Agricultural Technology.

The longstanding partnership between NC State and SNU involves faculty and scholar exchanges, active research collaboration and student mobility.
