Bio
I’ve focused my career working at the intersection of international relations and community engagement, including seven years in corporate fundraising at international organizations and six years at the Consulate-General of Japan in Atlanta. I was involved in emergency response efforts following the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami, an experience that strengthened my ability to stay calm under pressure, a skill I first developed as a lifeguard. More recently, I had the honor of helping welcome former Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida during his 2024 visit to North Carolina. Outside of work, I usually start my day with strength training or Pilates.
