Poole and SKEMA Welcome First Class of Freshman Students

The School of Knowledge Economy & Management (SKEMA) Business School, a private, nonprofit venture that has seven campuses across five continents, is now recruiting students domestic students with its partnership with NC State. Students can now earn a dual degree of international business and another specialized degree from NC State and spend their third year abroad at one of the seven campuses. The program also requires students to spend six to ten months interning with a company to apply their new skills. “I did not realize that over 51 percent of their sales are outside of the United States. So as we educate our students in North Carolina, we need to do it in a global context,” said Robert Sandruck, director of global programs at Poole, when remembering how companies like John Deere are becoming more global.
