Passport Fair

NC State Global provides agents and appointments for students to have their U.S. passport applications processed. Pictures also provided for a small fee.

Passport Fair

  • February 29, 2024 at Global Engagement Hub, Talley Student Union
  • 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM and 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM
  • Appointments will be required for all passport applications and renewals
  • Passport processing times are currently 6-8 weeks for routine service, and 2-3 weeks for expedited service

All Appointments

Adults (Non-Renewal)

If this is your first passport, or you don’t qualify for a renewal (for example, if you were a minor when you applied for your last passport)

  • DS-11 completed in black ink
  • Photo Id and front and back photocopies
  • Certified copy of birth certificate and photocopy
  • Passport photo

Minors

Children ages 15 and under cannot apply for a passport by themselves. Both parents must be present with photo ID’S, if one parent is not present you must additionally bring a form DS-3053 signed and notarized with copy of the driver’s license (front and back) per each child. 

Children ages 16 and 17 should attend with one parent to show parental awareness.

Renewals (Adults ONLY)

If you are eligible for a Renewal, you can submit your own Renewal application yourself through the USPS mail, without having to visit any passport office or attend the Passport Fair. Only schedule an appointment if your previous passport expired more than five years ago and was issued more than 15 years ago or if you are otherwise ineligible for renewal by mail

Renewals (Minors ONLY)

  • Execution Fee must be paid prior to the appointment
  • If you would like to have your passport photo taken at the fair, please pay the passport photo fee prior to your appointment (please note this is non-refundable)
  • Passport Book fees should be made payable to “U.S Department of State” in a check or money order that you bring with you to your appointment

  • The simplest parking is by credit card only at the Public Pay Lot at the intersection of Dan Allen and Cates Ave:
  • From the parking lot, we are a 5-6 minute walk straight down Cates Avenue.
