Travel

Near or far, NC State Global is here to support you with your international travels.

The NC State Global Travel page serves as a central resource for university-related international travel. Students, faculty and staff will find guidance on travel policies, safety and security resources, planning tools and logistical support to help ensure safe, successful and compliant travel experiences worldwide.

Faculty & Staff Travel Abroad

NC State recognizes that international endeavors advance our institutional mission in the areas of education, research, extension and innovation. Important work may sometimes take place in international locations that pose health, safety or security risks. While individual employees must take responsibility for their own health, safety and security, NC State also has an institutional interest in supporting employees while they pursue university-related activities abroad.

These resources can assist hosting departments in planning for international visitors. For visits involving high-ranking university or government officials, please contact the Office of Global Engagement to inquire about courtesy meetings with campus leadership.
