Support Study Abroad Students

Help NC State students think and do globally.

Participating in study abroad benefits students personally, academically and professionally. Studying abroad takes students beyond traditional classroom learning to engage with the world around them, truly exemplifying our Think and Do spirit. Scholarships help students with limited resources make this transformative experience a reality.

Your support expands access to study abroad opportunities, ensuring all members of the Pack gain the knowledge and skills essential for success in our interconnected world.

Support International Students

The International Student Support Fund assists international students who experience unexpected financial hardships during their academic journeys. International students are not eligible for many of the resources available to U.S. citizens, such as government-funded food, housing or medical benefits. Your support ensures that international students can pursue learning, research and teaching at NC State and successfully join our Wolfpack alumni community.

Support the NC Japan Center Fund

The NC Japan Center provides transformational programs for our students through study, internships and project-based learning in Japan. And here in North Carolina, the Center connects industry, government and academia to drive innovation and local economic development. 

Your contribution enables the NC Japan Center to expand student learning, build career connections and share Japanese culture with communities statewide. Please support the NC Japan Center’s truly unique and exceptional legacy that is shaping a brighter, globally connected future!

Support Global Strategic Initiatives

Global initiatives enable shared discovery, innovation and solutions to some of the world’s most pressing challenges. Equally important are opportunities for student learning and preparation for leadership in our rapidly changing landscape. The Office of Global Engagement (NC State Global) advances the university’s internationalization efforts through strategic partnerships with institutions abroad and the provision of support services and campus programs for NC State students.  

Funds support international programs across campus and collaborative research projects that address complex global problems and prepare our students and scholars for an increasingly interconnected world. With your gift, you can support seed grants to launch international research and development projects that engage both our faculty members and students.

Support the Prague Fund

The NC State European Center in Prague is the university’s premier international study site. Nearly 400 NC State students participate in the Center’s programs each year, representing a diverse range of disciplines and majors. Programs allow students to earn NC State credits while immersing themselves in Prague’s rich culture and history. The Center also fosters global collaboration and faculty research through seminars and events with partner universities.

Your support enables students to participate in the Center’s programs, including Prague Connect — a unique opportunity for first-year students who are admitted for NC State’s spring semester. Since these Prague Connect students are not yet eligible for financial aid, your gift enables students from all backgrounds to participate in this high-impact experience.
