Awards

NC State Global recognizes faculty, staff and alumni who have made significant contributions to the university and the world through international research, teaching, administration and service.

Wolfpack World Champions

Faculty, alumni and staff who have made significant contributions to global engagement at NC State are eligible to be nominated for three different global award categories; the Jackson Rigney International Service Award, the Distinguished Global Alumni Award and the Distinguished Service in International Education Award. The awards aim to laud individuals at NC State who are making a difference in internationalization. NC State Global coordinates the efforts with our advisory committees to select deserving awardees every spring semester.

Global Award Categories

Distinguished Global Alumni Award

NC State honors former international students who have used their education to distinguish themselves through outstanding achievements.

Jackson Rigney International Service Award

This award recognizes the distinguished contributions of a faculty or staff member in promoting international understanding and service.

This award is open to all current, full-time NC State faculty and professional staff members that demonstrate exceptional contributions to advancing international education for NC State students.
