Alexander earned a B.A. in Russian & East European Studies at UNC-Chapel Hill and a Master in International Studies at NC State University, where he has worked since 2013. A native of Raleigh, he has traveled, lived, worked, and/or studied abroad in over 20 countries, with an emphasis on those of central and eastern Europe. Alexander has 8+ years of experience in the field of international education and has also completed graduate-level coursework in theology and philosophy. Last but not least, he considers the two most popular sports in the Czech Republic (hockey and soccer) his favorites, though his competitive playing days are behind him.
