Allison Haskins
Bio
A native of Birmingham, AL, Allison has held internships with the European Parliament in Washington DC and Brussels, and previously worked as International Education Program Coordinator for UNC Chapel Hill’s Center for European Studies. She has experience working with a diversity of programming initiatives, including Erasmus+ funding, and the Title VI NRC grants.
Allison was awarded a 2021-2022 Alexander von Humboldt Foundation German Chancellor Fellowship, during which she worked and conducted research with the Atlantic Academy Rheinland-Pfalz and the American military community in Kaiserslautern Germany.
Allison speaks fluent German and has a passion connecting the global with the local. She is a NAFSA member.
Allison serves as the point person for the development and review of international agreements for academic and scientific cooperation, student mobility, degree articulations, partnership networks/consortia and extension activities. She also oversses the development of programs, workshops, and seminars that strengthen NC State’s global partnerships – both on campus and virtually.
