Howard Chi
Bio
Howard joined the Study Abroad Office in December 2024. As an International Programs Coordinator, Howard collaborates with NC State faculty on group programs for the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and the College of Veterinary Medicine. Howard holds a Master in Higher Education from Elon University. Prior to joining the Pack, Howard served as the Coordinator of Short-Term Programs at Elon’s Study Abroad Office. During this graduate career, Howard worked in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at Elon and served as the Graduate Intern of Global Careers at Duke University.
Originally from Taichung, Taiwan, Howard’s family moved across the world to Iquique, Chile in 2007, where he grew up prior to coming to the US. Howard’s first study abroad experience was through the Rotary International Youth Exchange Program in 2016 in Liege, Belgium. Howard is enthusiastic about working with NC State faculty members to develop group programs in support of student learning through education abroad. Outside of work, he enjoys coaching and playing competitive volleyball.
