Megan Howard
Bio
Originally from the midwest, Megan has lived in 7 states and has taken trips to 24 states in the U.S. and abroad to Italy and Montreal, Canada. Megan joins the Office of Global Engagement from a previous career in local government as a Communications Manager and Town Clerk. Previously a notary public, Megan managed legal documents, organized town board meetings, and coordinated all communications of six departments for a city of 15,000 including the offices of administration, public works, police, parks and recreation, planning and finance.
Prior to local government, she has worked as a PR and Marketing Assistant with the Convention and Visitor’s Bureau in Asheville, and was a journalist for INDYWeek, covering the crime and protest beat. Megan also owns an online bookstore and enjoys reading, collecting, researching and selling all things print.
