Dear Sirs follows the journey of American Mark Pedri, as he seeks to chart the route his grandfather took as a prisoner of war in Germany in WWII. The film follows Mark and his wife as they bike across the German countryside, filling in the gaps of his grandfather’s story and reckoning with the impact of WWII.
Preceded by a panel on the history of the US-German relationship as well as the current state of the US-German relationship in today’s changing geopolitical landscape.
