Foundations for Developing Cultural Competence

The first in a series of three workshops for the Global Training Initiative Developing Cultural Competence Student Certificate Program.
This workshop is the pre-requisite for students pursuing the Student Global Skills Training Series Developing Cultural Competence Certificate Program.
In this 2-hour workshop, student participants will:
- Develop common language for identifying cultural values and interacting across cultures
- Develop new awareness of own cultural preferences and values
- Understand the process for developing cultural competence
This student-focused workshop is offered free of charge to the NC State community and fulfills the first of five components for the Developing Cultural Competence Certificate Program. Learn more at go.ncsu.edu/gti.
