The National Agricultural Innovation Program is an important component of the Agrarian Innovation Policy of Peru to address the challenges in the field of agrarian innovation.
The objective of the program is to contribute to the establishment and consolidation of a modern national system of science, technology and innovation for the development of the Peruvian agrarian sector. The program was created through a series of agreements to regulate the National System of Agrarian Innovation in Peru, the IDB Inter-American Development Bank and the IBRD World Bank.
The College of Agriculture and Life Sciences is working with the National Agricultural Innovation Program to develop several capacity-building projects and research initiatives.
