Commitment to DEI

As international educators, we acknowledge the various systems and institutions that have created and perpetuated countless globally inequities and the impacts of these experiences on members of our own communities and the broader world. Our work to support global engagement and cultural competence development demands that we commit ourselves to continued learning about our own biases and assumptions, and critically consider the ways that our institution addresses global inequities related to access to education.

NC State Global DEI Council

NC State Global’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Advisory Council engages all members of the division to lead initiatives and support programs that equitably serve our populations and improve the effectiveness of our collective commitment to cultural competence and belonging at NC State.
