Drones have enormous potential to benefit society — from surveying wildlife to agricultural innovation to use in rescue missions. Students at NC State will discuss how they used drones during a cross-disciplinary, two month field experience in Namibia, Africa. Dr. Larry Silverberg of the College of Engineering will also share how NC State is teaching students about drone technology and its exciting current and future applications.

This program is co-presented by the NCSU Libraries, the Global Training Initiative, and the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at NC State.
