Transnational Asian American Adoption

November 13, 2019 | 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

While the culture of being Asian in America has recently gained media coverage with the rise of films such as Crazy Rich Asians, the experience of transnational adoptees from Asia have been one that’s overlooked. With this event, learn the history behind transnational adoption and how it started, as well as experience a panel of adoption Asian Americans and hear their own personal stories about their experiences. By learning another side of Asian culture through the lens of an American perspective, understand a whole different side of Asian culture that is often overlooked.
