NC State is a committed partner in the Institute of International Education’s Generation Study Abroad national initiative to double the number of American students who study abroad by the end of the decade. NC State has committed to growing its study abroad participation by 50% by 2019. The initiative is also focusing on increasing the diversity of the students who study abroad, ensuring quality, and removing barriers to participation. The summit will highlight our progress thus far as a campus and guide conversation on how NC State can continue to reach this goal and continue growth into the future.
